With a monorail built, you’ll have an easier time exploring and won’t have to deal with the monsters from below. Going to a place that would usually feel like taking forever, especially with lots of hills and mountains, will now only take you a few seconds or minutes to reach instead.

Before we get to how to build a monorail in LEGO Fortnite, make sure that you have all the materials needed. A lot of these can be found in the Building and Toys category. If you can’t seem to find them, it means you’ll need to upgrade your Crafting Bench.

How to Create a Monorail in LEGO Fortnite

Building a monorail in LEGO Fortnite requires you to find two different elevated spots on the map, which you’ll use as a starting and end point for your monorail. After that, you’ll build two platforms with boosters on each of them on top of a thin rack that will take you to these places.

All in all, this means you’ll need to take some time exploring to find the best spots. We recommend places such as mountains and hills as they’re quite easy to come by in the game. Once you’ve got that figured out, you’re ready to start building your monorail in LEGO Fortnite.

Start by laying your rails in a straight line from one spot to the other. The Ancient Thin floor is a good choice for this as it’s more durable.

Next, place two Dynamic Foundations on the rail, but make sure to leave a gap between them. This is super important as they’ll need to act as separate ‘platforms’ or there’s a chance they might blow up if not done correctly.

Place two Wood Foundation 02 on the back of each Dynamic Foundation. You’ll need these as a place to stick the thrusters in the next step.

Carefully place three thrusters on the back of each Dynamic Foundation. These have to face the opposite direction so that you can move forward and backward.

Place four wheels on the bottom of each platform so they’re able to stay on the rail.

Afterward, you can decide which railing you’d want to put on both of the foundations just so it’d be more secure.

Lastly, place an Activation Switch on both of the foundations so you can stop the platform whenever. You’re also free to add more decor or clutter to it.

If you want to, you can add a chest on the foundation just in case you need a place to store some materials while you’re gathering resources.

That’s all you need to do to build a monorail in LEGO Fortnite. There’s no denying that this could take a while, but all that hard work will be worth it since you’ll have the convenience of traveling from one place to another in a quicker and safer way.
