Where to Find Ruby in LEGO Fortnite

In LEGO Fortnite, you can find ruby in the Dry Valley, specifically in lava caves. They look like giant reddish rocks and generally spawn close to each other. To mine them, you’ll need to equip a blue rarity pickaxe or higher. Anything with a lower rarity than this will do zero damage when you try to mine the ruby.

Before you attempt to go inside a lava cave, know that it is extremely hot inside. Even just being in the Dry Valley without any sort of protection is enough to make your character take continuous damage, which can be lethal the longer you stay.
You’ll want to make sure that you’ve at least equipped a Cool Headed Charm before heading here. Don’t forget to stock up on some food like Meat and Egg as you don’t want to be starving in the middle of your cave exploration.

What is Ruby Used For in LEGO Fortnite?

You can craft the Essence of Luck with ruby.
The main use of ruby is to upgrade your village hub in the Dry Valley. If you found a nice spot somewhere in this hot biome, this is your go-to material if you’re planning to build your village here.
