Festival of the Lost is Destiny 2’s Halloween event. It returns each year to offer players a break from the monotony of seasons and celebrate all things spooky. It’s not just a new coat of paint for a few weeks, though. There are creepy activities to jump into.
One of the Overarching tasks that players will be working through over the course of the entire event is the Book of the Forgotten. It’s got three volumes to unlock pages from, but players will need to collect Spectral Pages and manifest them to do this.

How to Get Spectral Pages in Destiny 2 During Festival of the Lost

to get Spectral Pages in Destiny 2, players must complete activities during Festival of the Lost while wearing a Festival of the Lost mask. These activities can be anything from a Strike or Crucible match to a round of Gambit or a Haunted Sector run. As long as the Guardian is wearing a Festival of the Lost mask, which they’ll get from Eva Levante, they will earn Spectral Pages.
Players can even go as far out as completing standard Lost Sectors or Public Events around the system. It’s the completion of these activities with a mask that’s key. We always end up amassing a huge collection of Spectral Pages during the event, but it’s putting in the work to convert them and use them that takes time.
What Do You Do With Spectral Pages in Destiny 2

Spectral Pages are a type of currency for Destiny 2’s Festival of the Lost event. Once players have built up a big collection of them, they need to convert them into Manifested Pages by completing Haunted Sectors. Spectral Pages will convert every time a Headless One is defeated in one of these activities. These are also worth putting time into because players will earn event-exclusive weapons from them, as well as Candy to use with Eva Levante.
Then, with Manifested Pages in hand, players can unlock entries in the Book of the Forgotten next to Eva Levante in the Tower. This book is linked to the Bookworm Event Challenge and so much more of Destiny 2’s Festival of the Lost lore. It’s well worth a player’s time to complete because of the loot that can be earned from it too.
As players complete more challenges during the event, they’ll also work towards earning a new Title they can equip in Destiny 2. The best one, which is available in 2023 once more, is Ghost Writer, which we don’t think will ever be topped.
