Already in its eight season, popular mainland variety program Chinese Restaurant has Huang Xiaoming (黃曉明) helming the show as head of the restaurant. With the end of the pandemic, overseas filming on location has resumed.
Previously heading to Budapest, Hungary, the new season will see the guests head to Fondation Monet in Giverny, France. Besides Huang Xiaoming, popular actress Esther Yu (虞書欣) and Hu Yitian (胡一天) are set to join in.
On a tight filming schedule, many netizens have spotted the cast on set. A-lister Huang Xiaoming was spotted squatting on the roadside during preparations for filming, where he chatted with guest star Esther Yu, his stylish and humble behaviors winning over praise from Chinese netizens.
