The new era of Hunt includes an exciting launch to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. As we already announced in Autumn 2023, this includes the termination of the online features and the deprecation of Hunt: Showdown on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. As a result, Hunt: Showdown will be removed and not playable on these platforms from 15th August.
If you currently play on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you will automatically receive a free upgrade to the new game on the next generation counterpart for your current platform, including all of your past purchases and progress.
We understand that this might be disappointing to some players that haven’t yet upgraded to the next generation of consoles, but rest assured your Hunt legacy will be ready and waiting as soon as you choose to make the switch to PlayStation 5/Xbox Series X|S.
