On September 26, Ice Cube was interviewed on The RAPstation radio show, hosted by Public Enemy frontman Chuck D, where the “It Was a Good Day” rapper shared that he is in the process of releasing a new album. The Friday actor said:

“I’m working on an album that hopefully I can finish in the next couple of weeks and schedule to put it out and yeah, I’m digging what I’m doing. The name of the record is called Man Down and, you know, it’s a pretty good record. I like it. It’s dope.”

Ice Cube’s new album, titled, Man Down, aims to be released in the coming weeks. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of this eleventh solo studio album, which will be his first since the 2018 album Everythang’s Corrupt.

Ice Cube’s iconic career spans over three decades in music and film, making him a true heavyweight in the industry. The legendary actor/rapper has been prominent in the music and film industries since his 1990 debut with AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted.

“It’s a blessing, really. For one, I made a promise to myself when I got in this business that I wouldn’t let it change who I am as a person, so I was always willing to let the chips fall where they may and not worry about ‘I can’t do this or my career will be over.’”

In 2022, the “You Can Do It” rapper was featured on the album Snoop Cube 40 $hort alongside rap group Mount Westmore, which was released on December 9, 2022. This supergroup also includes fellow West Coast legends Snoop Dogg, E-40, and Too Short.
