NetEase Games has just announced that its hit grand space sim, Infinite Lagrange will be part of this year’s World Science Fiction Convention in China. Between October 18th and 22nd, the game will be featured in the carnival’s attractions, allowing fans to participate in several activities and earn exclusive in-game items as we celebrate all things sci-fi.
The Worldcon is the oldest, longest, and most influential event of its kind, which has taken place almost consistently since 1939. It is where the iconic Hugo Awards are distributed and the 81st one will take place for the first time in Chengdu, China. This year’s theme is Symbiosis Era.

Infinite Lagrange will host the Symbiotic Development – Lagrange Science Fiction Carnival attraction for fans on the conference floor. An entire exhibition area has been set up with various props and activities that the attendees can take part in. Of course, loads of goodies will be given away as well.
Players who attend the Worldcon will be additionally granted special in-game bonuses such as a Commemoration Asset limited title. Trivia contests will further grant Proxima Coins and Livery Points. In addition, a science fiction carnival cooperation agreement challenge will also be held.
