KBS2’s “Love Song for Illusion” shared new stills ahead of the upcoming episode!
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Love Song for Illusion” is a historical fantasy romance that follows both the heart-fluttering love story and the fierce obsession of Crown Prince Sajo Hyun (Park Ji Hoon), who has an alter ego known as Ak Hee, and Yeon Wol (Hong Ye Ji), a fallen royal descendant who becomes an assassin to avenge her family but inadvertently ends up becoming the crown prince’s concubine.

Previously, Ak Hee was enraged to discover that the person Yeon Wol loved was not himself but Sajo Hyun. Blinded by jealousy, he pursued a night together with empress Geum Hwa (Ji Woo), who further ignited Ak Hee’s rage.
The newly released stills capture Ak Hee and Geum Hwa sitting across each other with a table of drinks and snacks between them. Unlike Sajo Hyun who was always cold to his wife, Ak Hee acts gentle around Geum Hwa, who appears to be disheveled after drinking.
Geum Hwa, who harbored resentment toward Sajo Hyun, will reveal the truth she had hidden from him after getting drunk, unaware that the person sitting across her is not her husband Sajo Hyun. Viewers are curious to find how the relationship between the two, who are trying to use one another out of greed, will change following this upcoming incident.
The next episode of “Love Song for Illusion” will air on January 29 at 10:10 p.m. KST.
