Joo Won, Kwon Nara, Yoo In Soo, and Eum Moon Suk will be starring in a new drama together!
On January 18, KT Studio Genie’s upcoming drama “Midnight Photo Studio” confirmed its cast lineup including Joo Won, Kwon Nara, Yoo In Soo, and Eum Moon Suk.
“Midnight Photo Studio” tells the thrilling yet mysterious story about a prickly photographer who runs a professional photo studio that only exists for the deceased and a passionate lawyer as they cross life and death with the night guests. The drama will be helmed by director Song Hyun Wook of “Another Oh Hae Young,” “Beauty Inside,” “Graceful Friends,” “Undercover,” “The King’s Affection,” and “The Golden Spoon.”
Joo Won, who impressed in numerous dramas including “Baker King, Kim Tak Goo,” “Good Doctor,” “Stealer: The Treasure Keeper,” and more, will be starring as Seo Ki Joo, the photographer of the midnight studio who is also the studio’s seventh boss.
Kwon Nara, who captivates with her acting in every project, will be starring as the passionate lawyer Han Bom who has more trouble dealing with injustice than ghosts. Han Bom will unexpectedly end up running the photo studio together with Ki Joo, raising anticipation for Kwon Nara’s chemistry with Joo Won.
Yoo In Soo, who starred in hit dramas “All of Us Are Dead,” “Alchemy of Souls,” and “The Good Bad Mother,” will be playing the role of Assistant Manager Go who is the photo studio’s customer sales representative. Assistant Manager Go departed the world without having ever dated in his lifetime, raising anticipation for his backstory.
Eum Moon Suk, who charms audiences with his talented acting, will be starring as Baek Nam Goo, who is in charge of miscellaneous tasks at the studio. As a former marine, he was once a successful violent crimes detective who rounded up gangs, but at the photo studio, he is only in charge of small tasks ordered by Assistant Manager Go.
The production team raised anticipation for the variety of stories that the ghost customers will tell through the upcoming drama, adding, “The greatest crew of Joo Won, Kwon Nara, Yoo In Soo, and Eum Moon Suk will draw viewers to the mysterious and strange photo studio.”
