June is bringing a significant opportunity to realign with the kind of life you desire, but it’ll require setting firm boundaries on your time, money, and energy toward anything that you’re misaligned with. We enter the month still in the midst of Gemini season, which encourages us lean into connection, communication, and thinking more creatively.
We start the month with Mercury (the planet of communication, technology, and travel) entering into chatty and witty Gemini on June 3. This transit marks a great time for you to step outside of your comfort zone when it comes to networking, flirting, and connecting with others and the world around you. Just a few days later, on June 6, we have a new moon in Gemini. This is a perfect lunation to plant seeds of intention around social status, friendship, research, and educational goals. On June 9, Mars (the action planet of passion and aggression) shifts into languid and sensual Taurus, lessening the blows and making room for conducive conversation again after being in fiery Aries (a.k.a. “Diss Track Season”).
On June 17, Venus (the planet of love, sex, beauty, and money) enters Cancer on the same day that Mercury shifts into Cancer. This meeting of the two planets in watery Cancer will help us to have a loving and gentle rest of the month as we start to share more of our hearts with the people around us. When June 20 arrives, so does Cancer season and the mark of summer’s beginning. The very next day, on June 21, we have a full moon in Capricorn, which combines a nice softness with the moon’s energy with Capricorn’s structured, “get to it” attitude, allowing us to see things as they really are. We end the month of June with Saturn stationing Retrograde. This Retrograde of the planet of karma will be staying with us until November 15. This gives us ample time to get honest, break away from patterns of escapism, and be truly present with our lives.
And don’t forget how far you’ve already come this year: We started May with a Pluto Retrograde period in the eccentric sign of Aquarius. This transit will be with us until Pluto, the outermost planet, stations direct on October 11. This will ask us to face our shadows, secrets, and taboos with bravery. Because Pluto is an outer planet, we’ll likely see this on a societal level rather than personal struggles—so expect the unexpected and try to take others off of a pedestal during this time. We entered April still in the midst of Aries season, which encouraged us to be bold and take risks in order to reach our goals. On April 8 we had a major new moon solar eclipse in Aries, which marked the start of a new chapter in our lives. As March wound down, we ended with a full moon Lunar eclipse in Libra. This major lunation brought undeniable shifts and changes for all zodiac signs, but especially for Libra, Gemini, Aquarius, Cancer, Aries, and Capricorn placements.
