The shooting of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’, which has been in the making for the last few years is finally nearing completion. Kamal Haasan the hero of the blockbuster sequel was shown a few main scenes and he was obviously floored.
The Ulaganayagan showered praises on Shankar in Tamil on Twitter which translates to “Today I saw the main scenes of the ‘Indian 2’ and my hearty congratulations to you Shankar. My wish is that this should not remain your peak because this is the highest peak of your life as an artist. Don’t be satisfied by this peak but rise above it with vigour in search of many more high peaks. Love Kamal Haasan.
Kamal did not stop with that as he also gifted a costly watch to Shankar with whom he is working for the second time after the 1996 pan Indian blockbuster hit ‘Indian’. The sequel has music by Anirudh and is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. The film stars Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Rahul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Siddharth, Guru Somasundaram, Samuthirakani, S.J. Suryah, Priya Bhavani Shankar and the late Vivek among others.
