Although Kamal Haasan’s “STR48,” starring Simbu, has been under development for more than a year, Haasan has abruptly dropped out from the film.
After Haasan left, different producers got together to talk about the making of the movie. Simbu will now officially be running production under his Atman Production Company. Apparently, this movie’s budget runs about Rs. 100 crore. Simbu, with the help of a few co-producers, has decided to make the movie personally given the significant budget.
With shooting due to start shortly, an official statement on the new production partners for “STR48” is likely in the next few days. This news is much awaited by fans since “STR48” marks a turning point in Simbu’s career.
