Popular Kannada actor Rishabh Shetty gained pan Indian fame after playing the lead role and directing the critically acclaimed blockbuster ‘Kantara’. He recently celebrated his fortieth birthday in the presence of his fans and his wife Pragati Shetty made an important announcement that made them super happy.
Rishabh Shetty, stated ‘I did not expect that you would give me such a big place in the film industry for someone from a small village. Because of your love my ‘Kantara’ it has now become a global movie. I have been eagerly waiting for a long time to express my gratitude to all of you and it has come true today. I would like to thank my fans, friends and my wife Pragati Shetty for organizing this event.”
Pragati Shetty then announced the launch of the Rishabh Shetty Foundation that aims to help the students in government schools in the state of Karnataka. She also said that the foundation will act as a reminder of the importance of education. Congratulations are pouring in for this new initiative and it is worth noting that the talented entertainer has been helping government schools in Karnataka for many years now, but he has never advertised it.
Rishab Shetty is gearing up to shoot his next film ‘Kantara 2’ which will be a prequel to the 2022 film that will be produced by Hombale Films. The scripting work is in progress and will go on floors in a few months time.
