Kid Cudi was a last-minute addition to the second weekend of the 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, performing a set at the Sahara tent yesterday (April 21). Unfortunately, he had to cut his set short after he leapt from the stage and broke his foot. Cudi addressed the incident on X later in the night: “Hey guys, so I broke my foot today at the show. 🤦🏾♂️ just leavin the hospital. Never broken a bone before so this is all a bit crazy. I wanna thank u all for ur concerns and well wishes!! I love yall man. I heard yall still ragin when I was offstage. Made me smile big 🥹.”
Cudi’s most recent album was this year’s Insano, which featured guest appearances from A$AP Rocky, Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, and more. He last performed at Coachella in 2019.
This year’s Coachella headliners were Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat. The first weekend of the festival also included a surprise appearance from Sky Ferreira.
