The news that Lasmid opted not to sign with Naira Marley’s Marlian Music has excited Ghanaians.
After visiting Ghana, Naira Marley voiced a strong desire to integrate Lasmid into Marlian Music, which sparked a lot of interest with the ongoing investigation about the death of his label mate.
He said he liked Lasmid’s music in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM. He continued by saying that he would be honored to have Lasmid join him, Zinoleesky, and Mohbad on his Marlian Music record company.
Though there was initial excitement, the much-anticipated signing never happened, leaving industry watchers and fans perplexed as to why the plans had changed. When unfortunate news broke, speculation over Lasmid’s decision to skip signing with Marlian Music took an unexpected turn.
