Lee Jae Wook is gearing up for his role in TVING’s upcoming drama “Death’s Game”!
Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Death’s Game” tells the story of a man who gets more than one second chance at life after facing death. Park So Dam will play the role of Death, who sentences a man named Choi Yi Jae (Seo In Guk) to 12 cycles of life and death.
In addition to Seo In Guk and Park So Dam, the drama’s star-studded cast includes Kim Ji Hoon, Super Junior’s Choi Siwon, Sung Hoon, Kim Kang Hoon, Jang Seung Jo, Lee Jae Wook, Lee Do Hyun, Go Yoon Jung, Kim Jae Wook, Oh Jung Se, and more.
Lee Jae Wook transforms into Jo Tae Sang, an aspiring mixed martial arts fighter who gave up on his dreams at a young age due to his family’s difficult financial situation. While living life without a particular goal, Jo Tae Sang finds himself in prison, waiting for his release date.
The newly released stills convey Jo Tae Sang’s cold charisma as he takes control of the prison. Despite being surrounded by numerous prisoners, Jo Tae Sung maintains a penetrating gaze, adding tension to the drama. Viewers are curious to find out if Jo Tae Sang will be able to safely leave prison.
In particular, Lee Jae Wook personally filmed and took on a majority of the eight-on-one prison fight scene, attending action school before filming. In addition to his action scenes, viewers can also look forward to Lee Jae Wook’s emotional acting.
The production team shared, “Since teamwork with the opposing actors is important for fighting scenes, actor Lee Jae Wook also went through immense practice for each and every scene for filming,” adding that he impressed everyone on set with his portrayal.
“Death’s Game” will premiere on December 15. Check out a teaser for the drama here!
