The success of Till The End Of The Moon propeled Leo Luo Yunxi’s (羅雲熙) popularity to heights. Currently filming for his upcoming drama Water Dragon Chant , the 35-year-old actor was spotted paying his Immortality co-star Arthur Chen Feiyu (陳飛宇) a visit on Valentine’s Day!
Similarly filming in Hengdian, Arthur is working on the set of Offering Salted Fish to Master after emerging from a bed photo scandal. The two actors had kept in touch after co-starring in costume drama Immortality . Wrapped in September 2020 and originally scheduled for broadcast in April of 2021, the anticipated drama fell victim to China’s crackdown on BL-themed productions and has since been delayed for over 3 years. Despite their sturdy friendship – Leo had not distanced himself from Arthur even while the latter’s image took a hit from having intimate photos leaked – the two had little interactions under their official profiles to avoid bringing unnecessary attention that would jeopardise the series’ chances of airing.
Leo’s visit to Arthur on Valentine’s Day, during which the two chatted for over twenty minutes indoors and Leo was seen waving goodbye to Arthur before leaving, thus created a hullabaloo online as fans wondered with excitement if their interaction might signal hopes for Immortality’s airing. While some speculated that streaming platforms might put all episodes of the production up for streaming at once, even if it might face the fate of eventually being taken down, industry insiders thought otherwise, describing the visit as a coincidental meeting of two old friends in Hengdian, and pointed out how previous rumored broadcast dates for Immortality have but ended in disappointment.
