The inaugural flight of the first air taxi in Madhya Pradesh, launched under the PM Shri Paryatan Vayu Seva, was flagged off by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. Departing from Bhopal, the flight took its maiden journey to Jabalpur, with the CM personally distributing boarding passes to passengers. Additionally, he inaugurated a dedicated ticket-booking counter for the convenience of those wishing to avail the service offline.
As of now, the aircraft can accommodate six passengers. But when the service gets popular and positive feedback, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board intends to introduce larger 11-seater and eventually 20-seater aircraft to further enhance connectivity and accessibility across the state.
