Rivals since 1981, Mario and Donkey Kong are true forefathers of the industry. Whether alone or together, they have featured in tons of games. So, it only seems right for the two to reunite in a remake of the 2004 DS classic but will the reunion live up to the nostalgic expectations of longtime fans?
Stepping away from the platforming genre, Mario vs Donkey Kong sees the characters face one another in a puzzle adventure. You must work your way through unique scenarios in order to read the end of a course. Nintendo adds several new features including a brand new co-op mode and two additional worlds but is that enough to entice fans of the original and newcomers?
