Kevin Deters, an executive producer on Disney and Pixar’s animated “Monsters at Work” series, has revealed the guest cast for the upcoming second season of the series to debut in 2024.
The new run will see three actors reprising their roles from the “Monsters University” film – Aubrey Plaza as Claire Wheeler, Nathan Fillion as Johnny Worthington III, and Bobby Moynihan as Chet Alexander.
Joining them in new roles are a bunch of comedy alum including Jennifer Coolidge (“The White Lotus”), Rhys Darby (“Our Flag Means Death”), Janelle James (“Abbott Elementary”), Ali Wong (“Beef”), Jenifer Lewis (“black-ish”), Jimmy Tatro (“Home Economics”), Danny Pudi (“Community”) and Joe Lo Truglio (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) .
Also onboard are SNL regulars Bowen Yang and Paula Pell, the ubiquitous Alan Tudyk (“Firefly”), Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby, and the one and only Danny Trejo (“Machete”).
They all join returning regulars Billy Crystal as Mike Wazowski, John Goodman as Sully, Ben Feldman as Tylor Tuskmon, Mindy Kaling as Val Little, Henry Winkler as Fritz, Lucas Neff as Duncan and Alanna Ubach as Cutter.
The “Monsters Inc.” spin-off hails from Disney Branded Television and produced by Disney Television Animation.
