There is a location, date, and time for the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. The annual awards show will take place at 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Tuesday, September 10, at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.

As we prepare to host this 40th anniversary event, let’s embrace the spirit of creativity and innovation that defines our state’s cultural landscape.”
The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards took place at Newark’s Prudential Center. The show featured performances from Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat, Shakira, Måneskin, Lil Wayne, and more. The 2022 VMAs also took place in New Jersey, and the show was in Brooklyn in 2021.
