Season 7 Story Details
The plot for My Hero Academia Season 7 (trailer) will pick up exactly where Season 6 left off, with America’s No. 1 Hero Star and Stripe arriving in Japan to help Deku and his friends fight All For One per All Might’s request for foreign aid. Afterwards, the season will have an arc involving a member of Class 1-A betraying the heroes, and Deku dealing with information leaking out that will put everyone at risk.
Where Season 6 Left Off
In Season 6, which IGN deemed in our review as “the best it’s been since Season 3” Deku and the rest of his class team up with the Pro Heroes to fight against the Paranormal Liberation Front and the League of Villains. Despite stopping the group’s advance, the city still suffered mass casualties on both the hero and civilian side, and the villains succeeded in breaking All For One out of prison.
Deku, believing that the mass destruction caused by the Paranormal Liberation is his fault because they along with All For One are after his Quirk, leaves U.A. High to protect his classmates and go on solo missions as a vigilante a la Batman. Eventually, his friends and teachers, even Bakugo, manage to get him out of his depressive funk and back to school, where he returns to his normal optimistic self.
Meanwhile, All Might, still a retired hero, attempts to join in the battle against All For One more than once. Realizing that he can’t fight alone, he calls on the United Nations for help, leading to the arrival of Star and Stripe, a hero from America with the same color palette as All Might’s glorious costume.
