Controversial man of God, Kumchacha has narrated how the bad state of the economy has affected his church members. According to him, his church members now give smaller denominations at church because they are broke and can’t afford to give bigger denominations as an offertory.
According to him, the only blame for this situation is the President of Ghana and his vice president. Kumchacha bemoaned that Nana Addo and Dr Bawumia has successfully run the country into debts and the citizens are struggling to make it.
A few months ago, Prophet Nicholas Osei, widely known as Prophet Kumchacha and the founder of Heaven’s Gate Ministries publicly apologized to former President John Mahama for his past criticisms of Mahama’s administration.
The apology comes amidst mounting dissatisfaction with the current government led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
In his apology, Prophet Kumchacha admitted that he had never voted for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the party of John Mahama.
He explained his position by saying, “I have said on so many platforms that I have never voted for NDC all my life. In this world, the truth is the truth and a proverb even says that ‘if there is anything in your mother’s part and you remove it, that doesn’t mean you have slept with her’.”
