Netflix’s ‘The Conference’ trailer combines brutal slasher comedy with boring work event

Team building gets violently derailed.

A work conference might be the most boring setting for a film ever, but when you add a masked killer into the mix it certainly raises the stakes a bit.

This is the set-up for Patrik Eklund’s slasher comedy based on Mats Strandbergs’ book of the same name, which features quick cuts between team-building exercises and a series of brutal (and creative) slayings.

The Conference is streaming on Netflix from Oct. 13.
