The Group Teased Fans Ahead Of Their Announcement
The group, consisting of Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe, took to social media on Sunday, November 5. The group shared a clip where they told viewers they had a “huge announcement coming up on Monday.”
The men encouraged their fans to stay glued to their social media for the revelation.
New Edition Reveals Their Upcoming Residency
On Monday, the group returned with another post which featured a flyer with the words, “NEW EDITION Las Vegas.” Additionally, the flyer showed pictures of all six members and read, “6 SHOWS, FEB 28- MAR 9 2024.”
Furthermore, the flyer listed the location as “Wynn Las Vegas.”
In the post’s caption, the group explained further.
ITS OFFICIAL! We’re launching our Las Vegas residency at the intimate Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas on February 28! Tickets go on sale Friday, November 10 at 10am PT. See you in Vegas!… Check link in bio for tickets…!!!”
According to Billboard, ticket sales for the group’s residency will commence on Friday, November 10 at 10 a.m. PST. Additionally, the ticket prices reportedly begin at $79.95.
Furthermore, the outlet also published a quote from an exclusive press release on behalf of the group.
“Fulfilling a career-long dream to solidify ourselves with a residency performance in the entertainment capital of the world, we are beyond excited to embark on this fantastical journey at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas,” the release reads, per Billboard. “On behalf of all of us, including Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky, Mike, Ralph & Johnny, it is our extreme purpose to give our fans a show that they cannot witness anywhere else in the world.”
According to AP News, the Encore Theater has also staged iconic artists such as Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, and more residencies.
