Netmarble has just released September’s content update for Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, bringing several new features to the mobile MMORPG. The patch introduces a brand new dungeon, several armour upgrades, equipment enhancements, and events to participate in.
At the forefront of this update are the Raid Dungeons. This new form of battle features fights against powerful bosses that must be defeated in cooperation with other players. A total of 20 players may join the match and everyone will have to strategize together in order to clear the dungeon.
Each dungeon will consist of multiple challenges including certain tasks, obstacles to evade and boss fights. These raids may be difficult, but the rewards should make up for it. A plethora of materials will drop along the way, some of which can be combined to create the elusive Mecha Soldier Weapon Costume.
In addition, NNK Cross Worlds is also celebrating the arrival of the new mode with a Raid Update Check-In Event that grants goodies like a Choice Summon Coupon Pack, 4-star Higgledy Hiring Selection Certificate, and more over the next two weeks.
Another new feature joining the game is Armour Liberation, which allows for powering up armour above the current cap of 6-star and level 30. On liberation, special stat bonuses will unlock on forming Wisp Contracts with Armour Wisps.

Similarly, the maximum Equipment Enhancement Level has also been raised from 99 to 130. This paves the way for more powerful gear that can be obtained using two new materials, Apex Enhancement Stones and Phenomenal Warding Dolls. Players can earn these through Raids, Field Bosses, and Relic Wars.
To top it off, a few limited-time missions will grant a myriad of valuable materials while the Felling Lucky event will give a lucky winner the Miraculous Warding Doll Chest. All participants will also receive a Random Summon Coupon.
