Nigerian woman arrested in Libya for alleged possession of sorcery and witchcraft paraphernalia


























The Libya Security Forces (77th Company of 128th Brigade) have arrested a Nigerian woman for alleged possession of sorcery and witchcraft paraphernalia.

The woman was arrested at the weekend in Sokna, a Saharan desert oasis town in the Fezzan region of southwest Libya.

She was transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department in Al-Jafra district where during interrogation she allegedly admitted to performing acts of “witchcraft and sorcery” with her husband in Sabha.
