Nothing beats the joy of having your best girls by your side on one of the most happiest days of your life. Nneka hosted her girls to a “High Tea In Pink” themed bridal proposal and it was all shades of beautiful!
With much attention to details, she took her girls on a fun ride to the Blue Box Café located within the American luxury jewellery boutique, Tiffany & Co, in New York. It was indeed a memorable day filled with laughter, joy, and unforgettable moments. They all turned up looking absolutely gorgeous and they have us gushing over the beauty of friendship and sisterhood. Here’s how Nneka’s bridesmaid proposal went:
I firmly believe in the adage “Give people their flowers while they can still smell them,” and organizing a bridesmaid proposal was my way of embodying this sentiment, both literally and figuratively. It was essential for me to convey my love, appreciation, and gratitude to some of the most influential women in my life. Among them are two childhood friends, a schoolmate from nursing school, and three cousins who have become like sisters to me. These women have been with me through various stages of life, from window shopping in New York, as teenagers with just enough for train fare, to embarking on adventures around the globe together.
What better way to recognize their value and impact on my life than by treating them to a few hours of luxury? I arranged for a chauffeur, rented a luxurious vehicle, stocked the car’s mini bar with champagne, and secured reservations at the Blue Box Café. The Blue Box café is located within the American luxury jewellery boutique, Tiffany & Co., in New York. The theme for the bridesmaid proposal was Tea at Tiffany’s. I envisioned recreating one of my imaginary tea party scenes from my childhood.
Each bridesmaid was asked to adhere to the theme: “high tea in pink.” We enjoyed tea, caviar, scones and pastries. Each bridesmaid received a Tiffany’s bracelet and perfume as well as a champagne flute in the iconic Tiffany Blue. Each bridesmaid received a silver infinity bracelet, packaged in the iconic Tiffany blue box, accompanied by a card bearing the message, “I will love you until infinity runs out.” It was undeniably the best tea party I have ever attended!
