Ryokugyu quickly grabs hold of Momo in his dragon form while the Akazaya Nine desperately try to save him. After multiple types of attacks hitting his tree form, Ryokugyo isn’t hurt at all. Eventually, he detains them all and asks to see Luffy.

Meanwhile, the Akazaya Nine are pinned down by Ryokugyu while Momonosuke tries to tell them not to do anything. The Admiral asks them to bring Luffy. None of their attacks hurt Ryokugyu, even Raizo’s flame Ninpo.
The Admiral laughs as he restrains everyone with his branches and hangs them upside down. Law meets up with Robin as they go down to the hidden basement. Robin spots a glass window on the side, which shows the Land of Wano on the seafloor.
Tengu explains that it’s Wano 800 years ago, filled with rainwater that gathered over centuries. They proceed further down the stairs and reach a Road Ponegliff. Tengu explains that the Ancient Weapon Pluton is further down, but he cannot show it until the removal of the walls.
Ryokugyu explains that Kaido was the only thing deterring people from Wano, but now he is dead. He tells Momo to bring Luffy, the only way he will leave this nation. Momo refuses to do anything he says and desperately tries to conjure a fireball.
After multiple failed attempts, Momonosuke remembers Luffy’s words and unleashes a massive blast of fire. With power similar to Kaido’s beam, the explosion covers the whole area in flame, with Ryokugyu charred on the floor. However, he still sprouts back up from the ground and prepares to use his full strength.
Before Ryokugyu can attack, a crimson beam appears from behind, completely stopping his movement. Shanks uses his Haki to prevent him from continuing the battle, forcing him to forfeit. From the land of Wano, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji have been watching the entire battle, praising Momo’s growth.
