Pitbull has renewed his global publishing partnership with BMG, extending his longtime relationship with the company.
The songwriter recently released his new Spanglish album Trackhouse, with several music projects and future releases in the works. The album name alludes to the NASCAR Cup Series team Trackhouse Racing—which he has co-owned since 2021. Trackhouse includes features from Nile Rodgers, Lil’ Jon, T-Pain, Elvis Crespo, Gipsy Kings, Omar Courtz, Vikina, Play-N-Skillz, El Micha, and Zac Brown.
Pitbull also kicked off the North American leg of his ‘The Trilogy Tour,’ touring alongside Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias. BMG hosted its sixth Synch SoundLab at Pitbull’s 305 Studios in Miami during Latin Music Week.
“It’s truly an honor to continue our relationship with BMG,” Pitbull says about the extension. “We are longtime partners who believe in each other. We look forward to continuing the relationship and appreciate the support over the last 10 years, dale!”
“BMG is proud to continue its long-term global publishing partnership with Pitbull and are excited to work with Pitbull and his team on his current release Trackhouse, future releases, and his incredible music catalog.”
In 2017, Pitbull released his tenth studio album, Climate Change. He’s credited as co-writing all 12 of the tracks that appear on the album, featuring notable hits “Freedom,” “Bad Man,” and “Educate Ya.” His next album Libertad 548 released in 2019 and Pitbull is credited with co-writing all 15 of the tracks that appear on it.
Beyond music, Pitbull has leveraged his business acumen through a diverse portfolio of investments and partnerships. He is co-owner of the NASCAR racing team Trackhouse and has successfully developed other ventures including his own record label Mr. 305, Inc., and Voli 305 Vodka. He also co-founded Sports Leadership Arts and Management (SLAM!), a tuition-free public charter school network that is one of the best charter school networks in the world.
