R Parthiban is one of the most respected actor-directors in Tamil cinema. He made his mark in the industry through path-breaking, out-of-the-box movies. He delivered the unique films ‘Oththa Seruppu’ and ‘Iravin Nizhal’ back to back. Now, Parthiban dropped an announcement regarding his next project.
Parthiban took to Twitter (X) today to share a Youtube video titled ‘F.I.R Filed by Radhakrishnan Parthiban’ and wrote ‘First Interesting Report’. In the 50-second video, we see an image of a crowded cinema hall with Parthiban’s voiceover in the background. This is now doing rounds on the internet.
Parthiban greets his audience first and asks them to be ready for the first experience of his film’s first look with its own first-ever censor certificate. He adds that this project is his first collaboration with composer D Imman and cinematographer Gavemic Ary. Then, the director revealed that this first look reveal would happen after the first half of the first show in 702 theatres in Tamil Nadu on January 20th onwards.
Parthiban concluded the video by thanking the audience for enjoying his works for more than 3 decades. It seems like he has planned distinct ideas to launch his new film which is going to be yet another unique attempt. Fans are intrigued by this announcement and waiting to witness the first look tomorrow. This movie is a joint production of Akira Productions and Bioscope Dreams LLP.
‘F.I.R’ aka ‘First Interesting Report’ is conceived and crafted by Parthiban with lyrics by himself. The technical team contains D Imman as the composer, Gavemic Ary as the DOP, RSudharsan as the editor and Keerthana Parthiepan Akkineni as the creative producer. The credits also include Yogi Babu, Shruti Haasan, Shreya Ghoshal, Brigida Saga, Nithyashree, Adithya RK and others.
