Explore All the Cyber-Universe in Randy & Manilla
The one-man independent video game development studio Ofihombre is proud to announce that Randy & Manilla is releasing on itch.io, GOG and Steam in Early Access on May 10. Take a look at the official Early Access trailer and get a glimpse of all the fun adventures that are on their way.
Randy & Manilla takes place in the year 2142 where players where players explore a mysterious cyber-universe hosted by Net-Cubes. Each of these contain virtual worlds filled with various games of different genres.
The game takes huge inspiration from movies like Wreck-It Ralph and Ready Player One. The post-apocalyptic setting is free from all the external threats. However, the villainous Cracksom Virus seeks to corrupt and expand his empire to the real world.
Randy and Manilla, prompted by a critical alert from the messaging algorithm E-Mailer, set off on a quest to safeguard the cyber-universe from annihilation. Armed with their hidden programming and power to resist Cracksom’s corruption, they traverse various Net-Cubes, determined to stop impending doom.
