Jeana Keough’s daughter, Kara Keough, publicly called out her mom for adding an obvious filter to her face in an Instagram post.
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum, 68, originally shared a selfie that showed her face heavily edited, presumably with an app that blurred and softened all her wrinkles, plumped her pink lips and gave her bright white teeth and piercing green eyes.
She took the selfie with “Amazing Race” alum Chip McAllister, 66, whose face also appeared wrinkle free.

Within two hours of the post going up on Instagram on Tuesday, Kara publicly requested that her mom delete the pic, writing in the comments section, “Take this down, now.”
Jeana listened and re-uploaded the original selfie sans filter. “Ran into my friend Chip McAllister. Winner of season 5 of The Amazing Race,” she captioned the new post, making no mention of the faux pas.

Several fans commended Jeana for the new selfie and gushed over how “beautiful” she is without the filters.

The former Bravolebrity has previously gotten called out for editing her photos and former “RHOC” co-star Vicki Gunvalson even accidentally exposed her for it.
Keough and Gunvalson each shared the same selfie from a dinner together in 2021, but fans were quick to notice that Gunvalson’s looked more natural, while Keough’s post appeared to be edited.

More recently, fans asked why she looked like a “cardboard cutout” and why she slapped on “too much filter” when posing with a friend.

Keough was one of the original women on “RHOC” when it premiered in 2006 and starred on the first “Real Housewives” franchise for five seasons.
