The “Fight The Feeling” singer’s latest album, Nostalgia, was released on September 15 and debuted at the No.1 spot after selling an impressive 137,000 units in its first week. Rod Wave also became the only rapper to earn a No. 1 album on Billboard for three consecutive years.

The track samples rock band Paramore’s “Ain’t it Fun,” showcasing the “Cold December” rapper’s signature trap pop sound, infused with a nostalgic rock vibe.
The lyrics of the sample, “Ain’t it fun, living in the real world?” take on a whole new meaning as Wave gives the song his own rap pop melody. The combination of the catchy tune and nostalgic rock elements has fans excited to delve into the past with Wave’s new album.
