On Tuesday, Nov. 14, Rolling Loud California 2024 announced its star-studded lineup, and Lil Uzi Vert called out the festival after its reveal. Shortly after, it was announced that Future and Metro Boomin would take his place as headliners.
The announcement by Rolling Loud, one of the most prominent hip-hop festivals in the country, named Lil Uzi Vert as one of the headliners alongside Nicki Minaj and Post Malone. However, Uzi quickly took to social media to express their thoughts on the lineup writing:
“I never said I was doing Rolling Loud, don’t understand why my name is on here @rollingloud.”
Uzi’s Instagram story post, in which they distanced themselves from the festival lineup, instantly caught the attention of their followers.
One Twitter (X) user, @dontgetsmackedd, wrote, “Lol as if they’re not in a deal…if the label said you going, n*gga YOU GOING.”
Rolling Loud California has not yet responded to the claim. However, on Nov. 15, the event’s official Twitter announced that the “Just Wanna Rock” rapper will be replaced by Future and Metro Boomin.
