KBS2’s “The Matchmakers” has unveiled new stills ahead of the upcoming episode!
“The Matchmakers” tells the story of the meeting between the young widower Shim Jung Woo (Rowoon) and young widow Jung Soon Deok (Cho Yi Hyun) as well as the struggle the two go through together to marry off Joseon era’s unmarried women and men who are considered older than the typical prime age range.

Previously, Shim Jung Woo was shocked to hear from Oh Bong (Kim Hyun Mok) that Mrs. Yeo Joo (Park Hwan Hee) was the culprit who killed the first son of the Left Minister (Lee Hae Young) eight years ago. Shim Jung Woo met Jung Soon Deok and asked, “How long did you think you could lie about your identity?” Jung Soon Deok, who misconceived that Shim Jung Woo had found out about her being the Left Minister’s second daughter-in-law, replied, “How did you know?” Due to the miscommunication, Shim Jung Woo announced that he will be breaking his matchmaking contract with Jung Soon Deok, thinking that she was the murderer.
Amidst this situation, the newly released stills feature Shim Jung Woo giving tough swinging lessons to husband candidate No. 12 Kim Jib (Jung Woo Jae), who will be given a mission to win the heart of Maeng Ha Na (Jung Shin Hye), the first child of Dr. Maeng.
Husband candidates No. 24 Yoon Boo Kyum (Choi Kyung Hoon) and No. 23 Heo Sook Hyun (Bin Chan Wook) watch the two riding a swing together and become astonished by Shim Jung Woo’s operation plan. Viewers are curious to find out whether Shim Jung Woo’s matchmaking operation will end successfully.
