Model turned Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu is popular in Tamil cinema after playing one of the female leads in Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Sachein’ released in 2005. She got married actor Karan Singh Grover in 2016 and at the age of 42 became mother to their daughter Devi.
Bipasha in a recent interview has shared the shocking news that Devi was born with two holes in her heart and had to udergo surgery. The concerned mother said “It’s been a lot tougher than the smile that I have on my face and I don’t wish for this to happen to any mother.â€
The 43 year old actress added “We didn’t even understand what a VSD is. It is a ventricular septal defect… We went through a crazy period. We didn’t discuss this with our family, we both were in a little bit of a blur. We wanted to celebrate but we were a little numb, me and Karan. The first five months have been very difficult for us. But Devi has been fabulous from day one.†Here is wishing the brave 9 month old fighter Devi Basu Singh Grover a speedy recovery.
