SAG-AFTRA has announced it will schedule more bargaining sessions for a new video game contract in the hope of averting a secondary actor’s strike reports Variety.
Talks between SAG-AFTRA and a group of around ten major video game companies broke off last month without an agreement, but at the time both parties indicated they would continue to negotiate.

The prior Interactive Media Agreement was originally set to expire on November 7th last year, but was extended by a year to allow for negotiations.
A spokeswoman for the video game employers indicates that as of last month, the two sides have reached a tentative agreement on more than half of the issues on the table.
