A recent posting on Reddit has done a breakdown of the actual runtimes for Marvel Studios’ Disney+ shows – how long the episodes are minus the recaps, studio logos, opening and closing credits.
Not that surprisingly, the much-maligned most recent series “Secret Invasion” came in as the shortest of all the shows to date – clocking in an entire runtime of just 3 hours and 43 minutes across its six episodes which varied in length from 29 to 49 minutes each.
That’s ten minutes shorter overall than nearest rival “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” and three-quarters of an hour shorter than the longest series to date – “WandaVision” which comes in at 4 hours 30 minutes across nine episodes.
Here is a basic rundown of the Marvel series runtimes on Disney:
“WandaVision” – 4 hrs, 30 mins (9 eps)
“The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” – 4 hrs, 26 mins (6 eps)
“Moon Knight” – 4 hrs, 21 mins (6 eps)
“What If…?” – 4 hrs, 9 mins (9 eps)
“Loki” – 4 hrs, 8 mins (6 eps)
“Hawkeye” – 4 hrs, 2 mins (6 eps)
“Ms. Marvel” – 3 hrs, 57 mins (6 eps)
“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” – 3 hrs, 53 mins (9 eps)
“Secret Invasion” – 3 hrs, 43 mins (6 eps)
“The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” had the longest average runtimes at 44 minutes each as well as the longest single episode at 50 minutes. “WandaVision” had the shortest single episode at just over 21 minutes, but not the shortest average episode runtime which was “She-Hulk” at 26 minutes.
