Dev Anand, a renowned Tamil rapper, was allegedly abducted while returning home to Chennai from Bengaluru. Authorities are examining CCTV footage as part of their ongoing investigation.
The incident came to light when Dev Anand’s family reported him missing, leading to the discovery that he had been kidnapped by a group of ten individuals on Wednesday night. The rapper’s family had filed a missing person complaint, prompting a senior police officer from Chennai Police Headquarters to reveal that Dev Anand’s brother had borrowed a significant amount of money, Rs. 2.5 crore, which he had failed to repay.
This unresolved financial matter is now being looked into by the police to determine any potential connection to the rapper’s abduction.
