Social media users have called for Nigerian superstar Naira Marley to sign Shatta Wale and revive his career after he revealed he nearly signed Lasmid.
Marley in an interview held during a trip to Ghana revealed he had wanted to sign ‘Friday night’ hitmaker Lasmid to his Marlians label before discovering he already had a label.
The revelation has stunned Ghanaians, particularly in the wake of the death of Mohbad, a former Marlians signee.
Mohbad was allegedly abused and assaulted multiple times by Naira Marley and his goons after leaving the label.
Ghanaians are therefore calling it an escape for Lasmid that he never joined Marlians.
However, some are also taking the lighter side as usual, with one netizen offering Shatta Wale to Marley.
“He should sign Shata wale ehn and revive his career for us😂😂,” one netizen said.
