For a 12th week, Netflix and Peacock’s “Suits” has once again landed in the top spot on the overall Nielsen streaming Top 10 charts. This time for the week of September 4th-10th.
As a result, it has now surpassed “Ozark” for the most No. 1 overall finishes on the overall chart since Nielsen began reporting the Top 10s in 2020.
Previous record holder “Ozark” achieved the top spot eleven times, but that figure is a total that was spread out across all of its seasons over the years which included several premieres.
The new season of “Virgin River” took the top spot on the streaming originals list with 1.9 billion minutes viewed as viewers both tuned into new episodes and caught up on past ones.
That bumped the live-action “One Piece” to second place with 1.4 billion minutes, Prime Video’s “The Wheel of Time” to third with 515 million minutes, Netflix’s “Dead Child” in fourth with 504 million minute, and “Only Murders in the Building” in fifth with 470 million minutes.
