A lucky lottery winner from Sydney, Australia, said that he plans to stop working after scoring a hefty AU$3 million ($2 million) and change jackpot win from The Lott’s popular game Saturday Lotto.
The lucky winner preferred to remain anonymous. He hit the division one win from the Saturday Lotto’s 4483 draw over the weekend. The winning numbers from the aforementioned drawing were 3, 4, 15, 20, 26 and 44, with the supplementary numbers 7 and 35.
The man from Greystanes purchased the ticket from Greystanes Centre Newsagency, Shop 19 in Greystanes Shopping Mall on 665-699 Merrylands Road in Greystanes.
The lottery player is one out of three lucky players who secured a division one prize from the Saturday Lotto draw 4483. While two of the winners are from New South Wales, the third one is from Victoria. The identity of each of the winners remains a mystery.
After the Life-Changing Win, the Player Plans to Retire
The lucky Greystanes recently spoke to The Lott officials. He said that he had been waiting for such a win for four decades. Excited, the winner pointed out: “And it’s come at the most perfect time. My retirement has come early!”
When asked what he plans to do with the multi-million-dollar prize, the man admitted that he will complete home renovations he had already started. “I’m going to finish the house off how I like it and then I can relax. I’ve waited 40 years for this,” exclaimed the lucky Greystanes player.
“Oh mate, it’s a dream come true. I don’t even know how much money that is. I did check my ticket last night and I knew I had won it, but it just hasn’t sunk in. It’s just incredible,“
