Conservative media brand The Daily Wire has debuted the teaser trailer for “Snow White and the Evil Queen,” a live-action film adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairytale.
According to THR, the project marks the first feature-length project made exclusively for the company’s kids entertainment platform which is named Bentkey.
Actress-turned-conservative commentator and YouTuber Brett Cooper stars as Snow White in the film with the teaser featuring a song voiced by Cooper and written by Jeremy Boreing.
Describing the film in a statement, Boreing says: “It’s a story about a princess and a prince, about beauty and vanity, about love and its power to raise us from death to life. It’s our own adaptation of an ancient fairy tale.”
The teaser comes ahead of a bigger-budgeted, live-action “Snow White” film at Disney starring Rachel Zegler with that film expected to arrive in March next year.
Cooper is also starring in the company’s upcoming fantasy series “The Pendragon Cycle”.
