Mein
Aisa
Uljha
Jiya
has
been
the
talk
of
the
town
ever
since
it
was
announced.
After
all,
it
marked
Shahid’s
first
collaboration
onscreen
with
Kriti
and
their
chemistry
has
been
winning
millions
of
hearts.
To
note,
Teri
Baaton
Mein
Aisa
Uljha
Jiya,
which
is
a
science
fiction
romantic
comedy,
also
features
Dharmendra
and
Dimple
Kapadia
in
the
lead.
Despite
creating
a
substantial
buzz
in
the
town,
Teri
Baaton
Mein
Uljha
Jiya
opened
to
mixed
response
from
the
audience.
Fans
have
been
in
awe
of
Shahid
and
Kriti’s
chemistry,
however,
the
weak
storyline
turned
out
to
be
a
disappointment.

started
its
box
office
journey
with
a
collection
of
Rs
6.7
crores
and
witnessed
a
decent
hike
in
collections
during
the
opening
weekend.
Interestingly,

Jiya
has
been
struggling
during
the
weekdays.
Although
it
did
see
it’s
highest
single
day
collection
on
Valentine’s
Day,
it
was
seen
struggling
to
make
Rs
5
crores
at
the
box
office.
However,
Teri
Baaton
Mein
Aisa
Uljha
Jiya
witnessed
a
decent
growth
at
the
box
office
during
the
second
weekend.
According
to
a
report
published
in
Sacnilk,
Teri
Baaton
Mein
Aisa
Uljha
Jiya
made
a
collection
of
Rs
4.75
crores
yesterday
(day
9/
second
Saturday)
which
took
the
overall
collections
of
the
movie
to
Rs
51.92
crores.
Given
the
trends,
TBMAUJ
is
expected
to
make
Rs
4-5
crores
and
is
likely
to
cross
Rs
55
crores
during
the
second
weekend.
So
far,
it
has
minted
Rs
0.17
crores
from
the
morning
shows
and
the
numbers
are
likely
to
grow
during
the
day.
Meanwhile,
Shahid
has
been
all
praises
for
Kriti
and
stated,
“I
was
looking
forward
to
working
with
Kriti
because
I
have
enjoyed
her
work..
in
the
last
few
years
she
has
raised
the
bar
as
an
actor.
Some
of
the
work
that
she
has
done
is
a
very
mature
work
of
an
actor,
not
just
a
star
who
is
also
an
actor
but
an
actor
from
her
heart.
From
the
first
film,
you
can
see
that
Kriti
has
a
lot
of
potential
and
she
wants
to
perform.
And
then
when
I
met
her,
I
found
her
to
be
chilled
out,
and
intelligent..
she
was
talking
about
things
in
a
way
that
was
interesting
and
exciting.
And
I
was
curious
to
understand
who
she
is
as
a
person.”
