Thalapathy Vijay is joining hands with director Venkat Prabhu for his next, and AGS Productions is truly matching up to the title “GOAT. As reported earlier, fans were waiting with bated breath for the release, and finally, the first single track, “Whistle Podu,” was unveiled as a surprise for fans on the occasion of Tamil New Year. Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, “Master” showcases Vijay’s power-packed voice, which he has lent while singing for the party song that is unarguably.
With lyrics by Madhan Karky, ‘Whistle Podu’ celebrates the essence of friendship. ‘GOAT’, also known as ‘The Greatest Of All Time’, is rumored to delve into the theme of time travel, showcasing Vijay in a dual role. While inspired by the Hollywood film ‘Looper’, directed by Venkat Prabhu, the production team has yet to confirm this speculation.
The film is currently being shot in Russia, with over 80% of the filming already completed. With Vijay, the ensemble is completed by Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Sneha, and Laila. Cinematography is handled by Siddharjsony. The film is all set for box office on September 5th with the grand theatrical release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages.
