The 2024 Emmy Award Nominations

The Television Academy has announced the nominations for the 76th Emmy Awards, and this year Amazon Prime Video had a surprisingly strong showing in the main categories.

FX’s “Shōgun” dominated the race with 25 nominations in all, followed by “The Bear” with 23, “Only Murders in the Building” with 21, “True Detective: Night Country” with 19, “The Crown” with 18, and 16 noms each for “Fallout,” “Hacks,” “The Morning Show” and “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”.

Also faring well were “Fargo,” “Ripley,” “Baby Reindeer,” “Palm Royale,” “Slow Horses,” “Lessons In Chemistry,” “Feud: Capote vs. The Swans,” “Abbott Elementary” and “3 Body Problem”.
