Award-winning Nigerian singer, Banky W has broken silence on his cheating allegations making rounds.
While addressing the congregation during service today at Water Brooks Church, Banky W stated that the devil is a liar, as God is in control.
According to him, the devil didn’t want the congregation to hear his sermon today, hence why he hit him with a cheating scandal.
He noted how there was an attack on him at the beginning, but God was in control.
Banky W appreciated his wife, who he said he would forever remain grateful to God for because he often keeps her on the phone for hours.
“The devil really didn’t want you to hear this message, in fact, he didn’t want us to enter this series at all. There was an attack at the beginning, but the devil is a liar and God is in control. And I feel like the devil didn’t want us to hear this. First of all, he didn’t want us to be free.
If I don’t thank God for anything in my life, I thank God for this woman (his wife). I will keep her on the phone for hours”.
Banky W allegedly cheats on Adesua
Kemi Filani reported that Banky W had allegedly not only cheated on his actress wife, Adesua Etomi but also impregnated another woman believed to be Niyola who was formerly signed to his record label.
According to the popular Instagram gossip platform, Gistlovers, the ‘singer and politician who is light-skinned, has impregnated his side chic and asked her to abort the pregnancy but she refused to, especially as she has previously aborted two pregnancies for him.
The information had broken the heart of many netizens, with many praying that the allegations are false.
Banky W to address church congregation amidst alleged cheating scandal
Speaking out, Banky, who is a pastor at Waterbrooks church, Lagos, alongside Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo’s husband, Pastor Blessed, revealed that he is set to address the church congregation on Sunday, June 25, 2023.
Sharing a Church Poster on his Instagram page about the church program which deals with overcoming pornography, Banky W wrote “Don’t miss church tomorrow”
“It is Series Finale. Glad to be wrapping up “The Road to Freedom” series with @bankywellington this Sunday. Chains of Pornography will be broken by the word. Invite someone as you come. Jesus is Lord!” the poster reads.
Many fans had stormed the comment section to assure that they will not be missing the church service at Water Brooks, Lagos for anything, especially as the poster is coming amidst the alleged cheating scandal the singer is being roped in.
Banky W gives hint to his alleged affair with Niyola in resurfaced video
After the news of Banky W’s alleged affair with singer, Niyola made rounds, lots of videos and photos were dug out.
Internet sleuths had dug out a video of Banky W talking about the power of resistance and his old habits.
The video captured Banky, who was in church, talking about how he has been held in bondage to a reckless lifestyle.
He admitted in the video, to having slipped several times even when he made a strong decision to break free from his lifestyle.
Banky admonished the congregation to fill themselves with the word, in case, the resistance comes back, it would meet a house filled with purpose.
Some Netizens read meaning to it and many decoded that he was referring to his affair with Niyola.
