Dmitriy Vasilyev has officially announced its upcoming title, The Great Fluctus. This open-world adventure exploration game will arrive soon on PC via Steam. It will be coming out on other platforms such as Xbox and PlayStation 5 later in the future as well. Check out the official trailer below to get a glimpse of it.
The Great Fluctus takes place in the near future when humans become obsessed with social media. People have lost the ability to have real conversations and connections. Empathy and creativity vanished as people turned into apathetic screen zombies. Tech moguls created highly addictive social networks, keeping everyone glued to their screens.
A visionary, seeing the impending disaster, developed an AI to encourage real-world interactions, but humanity resisted, banning books and shunning learning. The society declined into stupidity. Just as hope seemed lost, an advanced alien civilization, actually future humans, provided the technology to create portals to other worlds.
The visionary sent followers through these portals to preserve humanity’s legacy, but many brainwashed followers also jumped through, spreading their dullness. Known as flucters, they marked the beginning of a new era.
As a player, you’ll explore bizarre new worlds and civilizations, experiencing a humorous adventure that highlights the balance between brilliance and buffoonery, progress and regression, intelligence and idiocy.
