The Top 5 Rarest Fortnite Emotes – Ahead of the Curve

Fortnite has tons of skins and items in-game, which can be the driving force behind playing for some people. Even if you’ve unlocked all the outfits you want though (at least till some of the Fortnite leaked skins come out), emotes can enhance basically any skin in the game. These little dances and other actions in-game have really taken on a life of their own. The rarest Fortnite emote is one of the most exciting cosmetics in the game too.

Between emotes from old battle passes, ones that resulted in lawsuits, and some others which basically never come back, the Fortnite rarest emote is really hard to find. These are the top five at the moment.

Rarest Fortnite Emotes

5. Rage

This one is worth mentioning as its only going to become rarer, but it isn’t the rarest Fortnite emote right now. It’s in quite a few lockers but since it’s the only set that’s officially been said to never come back, no one else will be able to get it again.

This one is effectively banned from Fortnite as it’s part of the Travis Scott set. After the disaster at the Astroworld concert, these sets have been officially said to never be returning by Epic Games’ CEO Tim Sweeney. This one might rise up the rankings in the future. It could eventually became the Fortnite rarest emote.

4. Be Seeing You

Be Seeing You is another rare Fortnite emote that was only in the store for a brief period. It originated in Season 9 of Chapter 1. While it was originally in the rotation, it didn’t come back after a certain point though. It now hasn’t been in the store in nearly 3 years.

Unlike some others here, there isn’t a clear reason why Epic’s kept this one out of the store. It isn’t one up there with the rarest Fortnite emote because it has a specific reason for staying away. However, it just hasn’t come back. Epic clearly has some problem with this emote and we might not see it pop up for a while.

3. Head Banger

The Head Banger emote is a pretty basic dance, just banging your head to music. Why is it nearly the rarest Fortnite emote then? The emote just doesn’t return all that often, having been essentially replaced by a very similar emote more recently. This one could come back at any point though.

2. Widow’s Pirouette

Widow’s Pirouette is an odd one to pick out as the rarest Fortnite emote. It’s part of the Marvel crossover which usually means it would come back all the time. However, this is actually attached to an older Black Widow skin. For some reason, Epic made a new version with its own different emote. The original and Widow’s Pirouette doesn’t return very much.

In Fortnite, all seasons have crossovers. For some reason this Marvel skin and its emote don’t come back much though.

1. Fresh

The rare emote Fortnite has out there is definitely Fresh. This is the emote that’s never coming back. It’s based off a dance done by a character in the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, the actor behind the dance then sued Epic over its inclusion in-game. This has basically made sure that it never returns to the store.

In Fortnite, every season has new emotes in and out, but Fresh is one that will never come back. That’s unless Epic has a massive change of heart about things.

Those are all of the rarest Fortnite emotes. A lot of these have unique circumstances which means Epic won’t be bringing them back anytime soon. Some of them actively have legal reasons preventing them. Although, with the Fortnite griddy emote still coming back despite legal problems with the artist behind the music, they might not be gone forever. Epic could always decide to bring one of these back at some point in the future so keep an eye on the item store.
